Holy Cross Vocational Training Institute (Holy Cross V.T.!.) is run by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, Hazaribag. It is a Christian Minority Unaided Institution established in 1980 with the help of generous well-wishers. The admissions are open to all eligible candidates, irrespective of caste, creed, region or language. The motto of the Institute is 'CALLED TO HOPE', which characterizes the uniqueness of this Institution. The Institute has steadily grown in providing a variety of courses. It has also continuously aimed at modifying and adapting its courses to the changing needs. In 1985 the Senior Secondary Vocational courses were started and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The Institute conducts job-oriented courses that enable the students to hold good jobs or to stand on their own feet, creating self-employment. Today with more than 30 years of experience in training and placing students successfully in employment, the Institute offers a thorough training in a variety of courses to meet the individual needs of the students. It also offers expert vocational guidance and practical assistance to all its students throughout their career. The staff is well qualified and experts are invited from time to time to impart more knowledge and skills by their lectures and demonstrations.
